It’s time for Fantasy Football! Thus, it’s time for friend of the show Bill “Radio” Remeika from FOX 59 to bring back his amazing weekly blog post “FANTASY ISLAND” exclusively to the Hammer and Nigel Show. ENJOY……

Let me be the first to welcome you all back to some pigskin critter chatter here via the friendly old blog on the Hammer and Nigel show. Yes, you all know me; I am your guest football commentator on football talk this year as I was last year for the guys, but this year I have gotten smarter, leaner, and have gone from a spray tanning booth to real outdoor air to become the only go to source for football talk for the 2012 season. What does that mean for you? Well, it means expert commentary and insight that only I and Puxatawney Phil share.

While it is true I moonlight by day as a traffic reporter for the local TV station it is during the night and weekends I breakout with my expert football forecasts that even Las Vegas odds makers have been known to use and call their own. Stupid guys, don’t they know that I am often imitated but never duplicated.
So this year I am looking forward to talking and answering all things football, both real and and in fantasy land. I will give you the breakdown and breakups of teams and players and who you should keep, and who you should send packing.
Now the boys may even use some of your questions and answers on their shows throughout the season, but remember it will be me that will give out all of the right answers.

Ok, so you need a sample of my work again to whet your appetite until that opening game whistle. Preseason game one is in the books. Your new look Indianapolis Colts have such a new look that a meet and greet session has been held each day before practice each day. No joke, but someone needs to tell owner Jim Irsay not write on himself with a permanent marker.
Anyway, the Colts snuffed out a hapless St. Louis Rams squad with such ease that rookie quarterback Andrew Luck was able to update his other “playbook” with current phone numbers of those he had been introduced to since he graduated from college to the pros!

While very very very very very very very –{did I say very enough?} early in this NFL season, it looks like thing might not be all doom and gloom. Give me another game or two, but right now I feel confident that the Colts can easily go 10-6 with Mr. Luck getting some post season honors thrown his way. I think his chances could be enhanced if he just grows a handlebar mustache but that is my opinion.

So strap yourself in for a ride that will be so memorable this season that when all is said and done, you will be like a new man or woman or maybe both. Right now I have to go buy some additional butt paste for the boys cause like everything thing in life, they are chaffing something fierce after that all night binge at the sports bar.
